The RASQ established its wine show in 1999 in Toowoomba as the sole Royal Agricultural Society wine show outside of Australian capital cities.
The committee continues to develop the content of the Wine show with a focus on wine grape varieties originating from around the Mediterranean and consumer demand.
This year we have introduced 2 new classes. One is a specific class for Pet Nat’s (class 15) which are becoming quite popular with some very interesting varieties being produced. Prosecco (class 14) is certainly becoming more consumer driven with customers enjoying the lighter style particularly in warmer months.
We invite your participation in this year’s RASQ wine show with entries closing on 11th May 2018.
Judging will take place on the 2nd and 3rd June with a presentation lunch at 12:30 and public invited to taste from 12-4pm on Sunday 3rd June.
