The Equine Hall of Fame recognises outstanding contributions from both people and horses to the equine industry. It is a tribute to the contributions of horses, horsemen, and women of Australia.

NOMINATIONS NOW BEING TAKEN FOR 2011
NOMINATIONS for 2011 inductees to the Furlong Stud Equine Hall of Fame are now being accepted.
Horses, people, organisations and establishments who have achieved in the equine field are eligible for nomination to the hall.
Existing Equine Hall of Fame members include Phar Lap, Bernborough, Bill Roycroft, Hugh Sawrey, June Petersen, Jim Atkins, Eureka Stud and the Waler.
Three new members will join the list during the Equine Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony at Toowoomba Showgrounds on Friday, September 23.
The dinner is part of a gala thoroughbred weekend which includes the Fitton Charity Race Day at Clifford Park on September 24 and Darling Downs Thoroughbred Stud Tour on Monday, September 26.
Hall of Fame nominations close on June 30.
