Whether you’re passing through or planning a few days exploring Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, the Toowoomba Showgrounds offers spacious, pet-friendly campgrounds just 15 minutes from the Toowoomba CBD.

Only suitable for caravans, motorhomes and camper trailers, our grounds provide a relaxed country setting with the essential facilities you need for a comfortable stay.

No camping in tents, swags or cars permitted.

No bookings taken — simply arrive after 11:00am, check in at the Show Office, and enjoy your stay.

  • Camping locations may vary depending on events held at the Showgrounds.
  • No tents or swags permitted.
  • Sleeping in cars is not permitted.
  • Pets are welcome but must be on a lead at all times and not left onsite alone.
  • All vehicles must be roadworthy and registered.
Closures

The campgrounds close each year during the Toowoomba Royal Show and selected major events. Please check the Closures section above for all closure dates.

The Toowoomba Showgrounds is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Toowoomba CBD, with easy access for caravans, motorhomes and larger vehicles.

You’ll find us on Glenvale Road, Glenvale QLD, just minutes from the Warrego Highway.

No. The campgrounds close during the annual Toowoomba Royal Show and some other major events. Please check the closure dates before travelling.

*Due to restrictions under our Deed of Grant for State Government Land, visitors are only permitted to stay for a maximum of 7 days. Long term or permanent stays are not allowed.
